Activision Possibly to Sell or Close World In Conflict Development Studios

With the Activision & Vivendi Games merger now complete, Activision has announced plans for intellectual properties and studios under the Sierra Entertainment label, two being Massive Entertainment and Swordfish Studios both are currently in development of World in Conflict: Soviet Assault. Check it out:
    Greetings friends,

So, things are a bit up in the air.

OK, that doesn't worry us too much. Most of us have been around for a long time in this business, and we've been through this sort of thing before. Usually, we come out stronger and in a better position, and that's exactly what we intend to do again.

We are confident that we will soon be able to come back with some good, solid news about WIC and the "other stuff" we're working on.

Please know that your support means a lot. We're circulating the forum posts, the letters, the internet comments and the e-mails to the team, and it's warming our hearts. We are fortunate to have the awesomest bunch of fans! Stay tuned, and we'll return the support by giving you high quality games - as always.

    Massive

Massive is probably their best, everything else from this is kind of low quality and slow.
Hopefully they don't touch the Massive section at all unless they are pumping more money into the development of their games.

I think they do it because WiC seems not to be a game players will play over a longer amount of time. If you look at all the Blizzard games, they're all living much longer.

But if you asked me this isn't nearly close to a reason closing such a superb studio.

I getting usually at this time, to have my fave's games been killed. Today WiC is solo the most peculiar and good RTS game in existence out there.

Guess I'll have to stay with the original ones Warcraft 'n Starcraft 'n mods
