    First Strike v1.3 Released

The First Strike mod team has announced today the release of their latest version, 1.3. This new version is released in a few different forms so listen up:
OK gang, we have enough servers up to warrant the client file release! Enjoy and please torrent, mirror or otherwise get these files out there so we can start fragging! A few things to note for the client files: For those that already have FS 1.25 installed, here is a link to the incremental 1.25-1.30 patch:

For those that are installing fresh you do not need to patch to 1.25 first. We have created a 1.2-1.3 patch to allow you to patch straight from the base install. Here are the links to the 1.20 base install (1 gig) and the 1.20-1.30 patch (16 megs):

Note that the 1.2-1.3 will not work if you have 1.25.

So be sure to grab this latest version and post your feedback in this thread! To learn more about the FS mod, including the full change log for this new patch, click here.

          Re: First Strike v1.3 Released

I had FS 1.25 installed, and that worked fine (i remember changing something about the target or "start in" on the shortcut), but then I installed 1.3, and now it crashes to desktop after about 3 seconds every time I click to start FS.

          Any suggestions or fixes?
          (I already checked http://firststrikemod.wikia.com/wiki/Troubleshooting ...but it's for v1.25)
