Today at Sony's E3 press conference Jack Tretton the President and CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment America officially announced that the PSN is going to be opened up for "universal access." Check it out:

What this means is that you can access your friends list and other PlayStation Network content via your PC. You can access the PSN even when not around your PS3.

I cant wait for this to go live, in the conference he said about messaging people via the PC. :awes
