I just feel you can't effectively use scopes and the lack of guns and limitation of classes means i was left with awful, uncompetitive kits. Also, it just felt wrong

They cut the content from DoD1.3 down, which is very sad indeed.

It's now half price until July 10, only $4.99.

The game isn't too bad, though I practically had no idea what I was doing and some of the recoil on the guns seemed quite high. The gameplay was alright, but I just seem to die, respawn, repeat. Anyone have any tips?

I think what the most players like is the high recoil. Use a MP or Stg, get on your knees when you spot an enemy and rather than spraying and praying, point on his head and pull the trigger while you reduce the recoil via your mouse. The weapons are very accurate but you need to control them effectively. I loved that in DoD1.3 and now they implemented it into DoD:S.

Don't forget to capture flags and grenades are very effective, so use them.

So far I'm enjoying it, all classes are great fun to play, and the gameplay can get quite intense at times.

it isnt that bad, but that said its not as good as cs etc

nothing as satisfying as chucking back a nade, plowing people with an MG or using the german rifle to one shot people into the respawn screen

and god dam I loved the springfield sniper in that game, some mad scores on the OC server, especially on Argentan

Oh I love it.

Nothing like defending a control point and nail a few guys with my trusty K98 (which I love in FH2 as well)

I didn't like DoD 1.3 that much which stoppped me from buying this, but I love DoD:S this far.

Gungames are awesome compared to CS btw :p

And the sound when you run out of bullets in the M1 is soooo sweet! *klink*

It's more fast-paced compared to 1.3 but the weapon behavior is similar after the last update, which makes it much stronger if you ask me.
