Battlefield Heroes Meant for "Frustrated, Restricted" Players

The website Ars Technica has posted up a new article today that talks about the fact Battlefield Heroes isn't made for hardcore gamers. Take a look:
EA's cartoony WWII shooter, Battlefield: Heroes, is one of those games which looks like it'll be great fun when it's finally released into our hot little hands. According to Ben Cousins, EA DICE's executive producer, during his keynote speech at GDC Paris, the game is intended for gamers who fall outside the label of "hardcore."

"The marketing guys love to come up with snappy titles for market segments. The market segment they came up with for us was 'frustrated restricteds'—people who really want to play full games, and aspire to be gamers," said Cousins. While this sounds like a fairly negative term, it's actually used to describe the fact that DICE's target audience is limited by a lack of some sort of resource, whether it's time, skill, or money. The examples used by Cousins were players who are intimidated by the idea of going against far more experienced players, people who like playing video games, but can't afford the newer consoles, or parents who no longer have the time they used to be able to commit to their hobby.

One wonders what other descriptions for gamers were used by EA's marketing department. What category do you think you fall under? Bonus points for making the class sound insanely outlandish.

I consider myself a sexy and provocative player. What kind of game does EA have planned for the likes of ME!?

I'm sure when its out people will exploit every little aspect of play and once again noobs will be owned and turned away.
