Yes, sorry about that, I meant to say each 'platform' which should hopefully mean better quality for each one, but the game should be same as CoD4 was across the multiple platforms. I can't remember which studio is working on which ones, but it's in the article from the xbox magazine which is still posted in the news section here.
Seems nothing new to me at all, those GFX are not par at all to COD4's.. Might be early build, but who knows. Last image looks like it was photoshoped A lot. Same models I see from COD2, use something better......
Skip..
As I said in the original post, these screens are likely leaked and they do not represent the game's quality and what the game looks like in full detail. Do not base your opinion off of these pictures.
They are more a preview to get a sense of what the game may look like (not graphic wise, more environment wise) and what the gameplay may include.

Listen to this man people, he's SEEN the game. Lift that embargo dang it!
I hope we get to play as Japanese as well. They have a good story and it might open peoples eyes who think war is black and white, good side and bad side. They have a chance to really make a deep and gritty story here.
You know better than to expect something like that, surely? I agree it would be awesome if they did, but i guess companies think it's more fan friendly to be on the allied side rather than see the war through the axis perspective.
Really? And you know that based off of the few screenshots we have now seen and the very small amount of info released so far on it? Now if you want to give a few examples or reasons as to why you think this game will be a failure, be my guest, I encourage discussion on the game whether it is negative or positive. The only way to make it the best for all people is to take the negative claims and try to correct them and make them positive. But please don't just make irrational comments without backing them up with a little more reason.

I'll probably just play the MP side, so I guess I'll get to play both. :)
Spawn, maybe you might know, but when did Treyarch start working on it? I don't see how a game can be made in less than a year so it must've been started back before COD4 was even released.
Quite honestly, don't know if I will get the game, guess it will be a wait till a demo type of situation due to all the World War 2 games I've played, it's old news I suppose. (Im now addicted to Modern Day)
Something like that is surely what happened. Considering they are using the same engine and same franchise... it is more than likely they got the basic engine to cod4 much much earlier, and then as IW updated it they update it also. And in the time since Cod4 finished development, they have been improving.

World at War will have a two-year development cycle, double that of Treyarch's previous title, Call of Duty 3. The game will be powered by an enhanced version of Infinity Ward's Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare engine - improvements have been made to the physics engine and lighting model...
