The thing is, IW's not making it. Treyarch are, so i wonder whether it'll be very good. I imagine it won't be out this year, so next year probably.

You gotta remember it's the Pacific Theater so it's gonna be a different from the previous CODs, which is the reason I'll be buying this.

Now, now. Lets not get into a politicial debate. I'd have liked a Cold War type COD, or maybe a continuation of Price and Macmillian 15 years ago.

We need a good Vietnam shooter, but until then I am happy with World War II.

                            OMG! READ:

                            Planet Call of Duty wrote:
Computer & Video Games is reporting that the next issue of Xbox 360: The Official Magazine will confirm that Call of Duty 5 will take place in the Pacific and parts of Russia.

The fifth game in the CoD series, which is being developed by CoD3 studio Treyarch, ditches the number subtitle and expectedly returns to WWII - but the developer stresses it's not the same theatre we've seen a million times before.

It all takes place in the Pacific theatre (and partially in Russia's advance into Berlin) says OXM, which all in all was a much grittier and darker conflict that the one in muddy Belgium fields.

Thanks to FPS Admin for the news.
