UK Games magazine Gamesmaster has released a preview of Battlefield Heroes in it's July edition.
"Battlefield Heroes is an important development in the world of video games. It hasn't been created by a DIY developer in their bedroom, nor is it an elaborate interactive advert to promote deodorant or beer. The best way to think of it is as 'Battlefield Lite' - a game that strips the mechanics down to the basics, dresses it with crisp cartoon graphics and ramps up the fun."
"With a slower pace to past Battlefield titles (at least the level we played), as well as a third person perspective, Battlefield Heroes is ideal for new players, while also promoting a great use of strategy. It's massively entertaining, and lets not forget, FREE! What more could you want?"
Gamesmaster rated the game five out of five, adding that the visual style and EA giving the community a game for free is awesome and the only downfall for them personally is that they won't be able to play it on their work computers.
