Battlefield: Bad Company Demo Officially Released

Total Battlefield is back with the news you've all been waiting for:

The demo version of Battlefield: Bad Company is now available on Xbox Live Marketplace for immediate download. Whether it is available on PS3 and the USA is unknown at this point in time, but be sure to stay tuned for the latest news!

The demo is 1.5gb big and free to download in Europe and Australia. Please post any feedback, including whether it is available in the USA and on PS3, in this thread.

EDIT: The demo has been confirmed both in the USA and on Playstation 3.

I've been playing it for the past few hours now... And im still getting used to the controls...

All i can say at this point that after Cod 4 it feels weird to just blow up wall and walk right into the house...

Well after playing it for a couple of days now I'm pretty pleased with the game overall. Some of the changes they have made to the game seem a bit strange like removing prone and giving the support kit medi packs and the ability to repair vehicles. I think these would be better spread over the classes like the previous battlefields. Only time will tell how balanced the classes are once people get used to the game.

There are a few bugs in the game which I hope will be fixed. The sound bug where you lose all sound is a bit annoying as you have to restart the game to get the sound back. Also my own land mines seem to kill me and my team mates which is a bit annoying as well when they're meant to be designed to recognise friend from foe. Hopefully this will be fixed before the release.

Overall it "feels" like Battlefield. The new game mode is fun to play and requires team work in order to succeed. The fact that they are adding conquest is good news as I think most people will want to play it as thats what Battlefield is known for. The new destructable environment is nice although not as destructable as I thought it would be. It seems only about 80% destructable with the frames of buildings still indestructable. In the end I think this will be a good addition to the Battlefield franchise. :thumbsup:
