Interstate Nitro Open Beta Testing

The development behind the popular Interstate 1982 Mod, Tarmac Studios has some very exciting news for Battlefield Mod fans.

On the 30th of May at 8pm CEST, Tarmac Studios would like to invite you to our open beta test hosted by us with our modification, Interstate Nitro. It is a total conversion mod using the Battlefield 2 engine that have been in development for some time.

They would like you to head over to their forums which can be found here and register, so that you will be able to see the link for the BETA which can downloaded via HTTP or Torrent. The file is roughly 260MB.

Hi, I'm phatty2x4, dev from Isnitro. The ISNITRO Mod is a car combat mod based off of the best game ever, Interstate '76. Interstate 76 was a car combat game, but more akin to Car Wars or Autoduel, than say, Twisted metal. Although the bf2 engine limits us(no weapons upgrades, no component damage), it still does a good job at creating a fun multiplayer game. And now that we've added AI, it's going to be twice as sweet. Expect a patch in the coming weeks with many additions and fixes.

The new patch is out! It contains new additions, like co-op, rear firing weapons and a ton of fixes. You can find it in the ISNitro forums.

I'm actually not sure about that, but I'm assuming it's a patch. Either way you can find the files on the forums.
