If you haven't been following the FPS scene as of late, a brand new and free-to-play game has been announced titled Combat Arms. Now on FilePlanet you can join in on the closed beta for this new FPS. Take a look:

Oh man do i have to play online? or can i try it offline?! I am asking cause i am still using the University's IVPN which blocks all MP on games oh krap guess i will have to wait till the 25th of June thats when i get back.

it looks like a warrock sequel. the weapon menu and guns look EXACTLY like warrock

A lot of people have said that, but I feel it's a better product than Warrock. You twitch gaming fans and nosway sniper folks will love this one - it's like the CS AWP all over again.

Yeah the interface may be almost identical to warrock, but the gameplay is quite different. I've played warrock on and off for a while now so I know the game pretty well (My friend and I try to keep our frag rates higher than 2.5 which means we know the maps and guns :p)

I like combat arms a lot. I look forward to more maps and hopefully bigger, too, so the player limit can be increased from 16 to 32 or so. I don't know if these two games are made on the same engine, but combat arms looks way better than warrock, graphically.

Fun little game. Played a few rounds last night, little laggy but had fun.

It does but it seems like they focused on the Shooting and not everything else

Nexon just released more non-subscriber keys for the Combat Arms beta, so if you haven't gotten in yet because they ran out of free keys, now's the time to get one!
