Playstation World Magazine recently announced in their magazine, that Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of The Patriots will contain roughly 90 minutes of cut-scenes.
Fans of Metal Gear have always been very familiar with cutscenes in the past, but it's as much of a part of storytelling as the missions you go through. Metal Gear Solid 2 contained around 45 minutes worth of cutscenes so an half and a hour's worth of cinematics seems a little excessive even in the gaming industry today.
However, there is a saving grace in that you can pause for a toilet break or if you're really not in the mood, skip the cutscenes altogether.
In other news related to this, the father of the series Hideo Kojima will be in HMV in Oxford Street, London on Monday June 4th, at 12:00pm signing autographs and also meeting the fans of the franchise. So if you're in the neighbourhood, get yourself a ticket and go see the man himself.
PlayStation World Magazine is on newstands now. Thanks to IGN for the meet and greet news.
