IGN has recently posted the announcement made by BioShock developers, 2K Games where they confirm the release on Playstation 3.
A 2K Games representative told IGN that "We can officially confirm that BioShock is in development for the PlayStation 3".

According to 1UP, BioShock will be gracing the black beauty around this Christmas time of this year, so get writing those lists to Santa.
