Q&A: World in Conflict - Magnus Jansén

Our very own Kieran Manzi recently got the chance to interview World in Conflict's lead game designer Magnus “Soundboy” Jansén regarding the new expansion and console versions of the game. Check out a piece of this exclusive interview below as well as the six new screenshots (three from the PS3, three from the 360) we were given:
Total Gaming Network: You recently announced that World in Conflict will be released on the Playstation 3 as well as the Xbox 360. What can gamers who have played the PC version expect to notice different from the PC version?

Magnus Jansén: The biggest news is the Soviet missions, which will be a part of the original campaign that you saw in the PC version. The Soviet missions will feature brand new characters and cinematics and will offer a unique perspective on the conflict, something that we know fans have cried out for since the release of the PC version.

The console versions will have a brand new user interface, new controls and some minor tweaks to various units. And on top of that there are some extra features for both multiplayer and single player (such as voice control). But the core experience is the same on all platforms.

      I've jsut re-read it and there's something I don't like seeing.

      Earlier IGN interview:
All multiplayer maps and features are made available for free to all World in Conflict customers, regardless of whether they buy Soviet Assault or not. Massive doesn't want to segregate its online player base into two. But if you really liked the single-player World in Conflict experience and you want more, then you should definitely buy Soviet Assault.

In the TGN interview it's stated that the mulitplayer content will be available for a cheap price, I really hope it'll be free, because this could result in tearing apart the community.

I hope he was referring to the single player content, which you should have to pay for.
