Blizzard Entertainment or rather it's parent company, Vivendi Games have announced the second expansion to popular MMORPG, World of Warcraft is scheduled to be released in the second half of 2008.

Blizzard have always maintained a "It's Finished When It's Finished" approach to video game development which has resulted in a few delays over the past fifteen years in the industry.

Whilst release dates aren't ever set in stone, it gives fans a rough idea of when the expansion will be available. Blizzard have also announced that over 10.7 million people have installed the game since it's release in 2004.

Whether you love it or you hate it, that makes it the most popular MMORPG or at least the most installed in gaming history.

i would buy it to see all the new places, but when i quit my character was lvl 61 or 61 and i just couldnt be bothered to spend hours and hours a day playing it just to level up a couple of days

i'm still resisting buying it. i tried the trial on two separate occasions, loved it, but still won't buy it. if you all knew me you'd know why, i would just play it constantly.
Plus i have a job, so it would take up the time i do social things
if at some point i find myself lost game wise, then i may turn to it, but atm i'm a stick with GTA 4, which is no way near as addictive, yet still enjoyable.

No. I'm active enough on these forums am i not? I play around 3-4 hours a day and then i play Battlefield 2 for like 2 hours, so it's not that bad for me.

However, people can and do excessively play, but i just think it would make me hate a game, playing it constantly.
