I'm sure this will be the same situation as with BF Modern Warfare where there is a version for the console exclusively and BF2 PC exclusive I would suspect that there will be a BF3 for PC.

Maybe they should announce it when they feel it is in a suitable condition, not just when people want it. This happened before and all it ended up with was complaints about games being released before they were finished.
