Re: New Mirror's Edge Gameplay Trailer
Idaues you are right, it does look like fun, but will it be fun? I don't know, i mean the last game i bought from EA was Army of Two and to me it was FAIL! Currently i am going to buy BF:BC and see if EA made a difference or not.Comment

Portal was about running through holes in walls. And it's nice to see hand to hand combat in a first person game too.Comment

Re: New Mirror's Edge Gameplay Trailer
Finally got around to watching the video, and it looks superb!
Just hope it turns out as good as it looks in the video (unlike certain other releases... cough)
Is the music from something else, or DICE's own? It sounds familiar and I quite like it.Comment

It seems clean because a game finally has shown us the sunlight.
Looks very impressive though.Comment

Wow. Action Adventure on Ureal Engine 3.Originally posted by WikipediaAlthough the player character can hold weapons, O'Brien stressed that "this is an action adventure. We're not positioning this as a shooter - the focus isn't on the gun, it's on the person." Gameplay in Mirror's Edge will focus on finding the best route through the games environments while combat takes a secondary role.[5] Consequently, guns may be obtained by disarming an enemy, but when the magazine is empty, it will need to be discarded.[9] Additionally, carrying a weapon slows Faith down and the heavier the gun, the more it hinders her movement, which introduces an element of strategy in determining when to trade agility for short-term firepower.Comment

It looks good, but so did Assassin's creed (sorry, I had to compare).
I've always wanted to play a game that gave you ultimate freedom (or as close to it as possible) in your movement. However, I have a bad feeling that the game will revolve around one or two simple "jump/action" buttons to have your character perform a pre-set animation to climb the obstacle.Comment
