Just played a couple of rounds.

The game is full of medics.
Either idiotic ones, attempting to complete the challenges in vain.
Or really good ones focusing only on their challenges and not supporting the team.

Instant fail.

It's funny how everyone supported this update in the beginning, but bash it after it actually comes out. Put it in perspective, this is way better patch/update service then practically any other game (I won't mention the game we all thought of just then), and at least they're expanding on the concept.

I look forward to the next weapon/achievement pack, though I think they should take there time and release them two at a time, on classes that compliment each other (for example, they coulda released HW achievements at the same time as medic, or spy/pyro together)

I typed in the all unlocks cheat console code things after i've done a couple of achievements to try out the weapons!
Now the only way to get rid of them is to get rid of ALL my achievements, even before the medic ones came out and i can't even get the achievements after i done it
I want to do it the good way!

Well, it seems you'll be able to do that next pack, they have just removed said console command.

Just played about two hours, and I ****ing love the new map. I played as a Demoman because it is one of my least played classes and got so many ubercharges that I broke my overall score record , lol.

I was always sceptical about the update, achievements for unlocks seemed very cliché and pretty much overused. Furthermore, it once again defeats the purpose of equal play.

Try not to impose your opinion of others on others. It's not common.

Goldrush is immense, now the spy animations have been made better its a lot of fun for any class

sure the game was full of ****ing smacktard achievement seeking retard medics for a few hours but I donned my bible hat and doth rained richeous vengeance down upon them as pyro or scout, even made a few rage quit

the tards. Console command, lol I said Valve would do some sort of wipe to those that used it

I think the achievements and unlocks are a great thing,it hasn't killed the game but has put some fresh air in it.

To make the best of this Valve needs to make achievements for the other classes all come out at the same time, or very close to each other. I have finals about now, so I don't really have any time to play. Hopefully once I can the medic spamming will be down.

it isnt just the number of medics, but when they all sit in spawn in a big group ubering eachother just to get an award while the rest of the team are out there killing and getting mowed
