21st Century Warfare Returns to Battlefield 2

After much consideration, the 21st Century Warfare tournament has decided to move back to Battlefield 2. Here's what they had to say:
After more than four (4) months playing with, tinkering with and fighting with Frontlines: Fuel of War, 21st Century Warfare is switching gears.

I am proud to announce that 21st Century Warfare is moving to different game engine - the Electronic Arts First Person Shooter and part of the world renown brand, Battlefield 2!

21CW has more than two (2) years of experience in running an organized combat environment with the BF2 engine, and has almost 6 years of experience and success with the Battlefield brand.

As such, 21CW has put the current campaign on hold for the next week as it makes the move to BF2. There are a number of questions that people have regarding the structure of the tournament, what the focus will be regarding the type of BF2 21CW's expects to play...

Community means more than game loyalty. I love FFOW when I get to play it. I think these guys did the absolute right thing for them.

FFOW is still a good game, however its not what we are looking for in terms of Tourney play. In the future it could be a possibility, doubtful, but possible.

I don't blame them.. why would anyone wish to play that screwed up game is beyond me.

Another good reason though that BF2 should be supported for more official content than 2142.

I personally did enjoy FFOW when I played it. However, during the Demo phases of FFOW. I expressed my concern to the FFOW Dev team on their forums regarding the prolific uses of the drones as flying bombs and not for their intended purposes.

This was after several hours of playing on a server where 2/3rd's of both teams were doing nothing but flying recon drones into one another and detonating them.

When I posted about my concern that this item would be abused, it was met with dis-belief. I was told that the explosive nature of the recon drone was a "feature" and that it wouldn't be abused. Unfortunatly, I think someone missed the mark on how popular the drones actually are and how they are used more for flying bombs, than recon.
