Just downloaded last night and played for a few hours. LOVING this game!
I am all about customization and this game has it all. Time to get in the paint shop and design my paint scheme.

Providing you allow the correct port forwarding through your firewall and from what I understand the other players have the same ports open also. (Ports 3450 UDP and TCP).

Yes, it's just a matter of finding the right server. If you know someones TMUF or TMNF account name you can add them to your buddy list making it a lot easier.

No, TM games stopped using the version of starforce that installs drivers since TMU was released Nov 06. The light version was removed in september 07 as well, TMUF and TMNF has no starforce what so ever.

It's a shame people are missing out on the greatest game ever (imo) due to evil rumours that Starforce isn't removed
