    Modbuilder Application Update

    Our own member, Deleted_Screen, has released the first major update to his promising application, Modbuilder. Here is what he had to say:
    ModBuilder is mainly for making Modding easy, so anyone can handle it. Also, for moviemakers, the actual modmaking will be much faster and efficient. In the near future, we'll have a beta released publicly.

    <object type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="420" height="360" wmode="transparent" data="http://videos.totalgamingnetwork.com/flvplayer.swf?file=http://videos.totalgamingnetwork.com/flvideo/93.flv&autostart=false&showfsbutton=true">
    <param name="movie" value="http://videos.totalgamingnetwork.com/flvplayer.swf?file=http://videos.totalgamingnetwork.com/flvideo/93.flv&autostart=true&showfsbutton=true" />
    <param name="wmode" value="transparent" />
    <param name="allowScriptAccess" value="sameDomain" />
    <embed src="http://videos.totalgamingnetwork.com/flvplayer.swf?file=http://videos.totalgamingnetwork.com/flvideo/93.flv&autostart=false&showfsbutton=true" loop="False" width="420" height="360" allowscriptaccess="sameDomain" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" /></embed>

    I'm impressed, really good initiative Deleted. I've always found it interesting to edit the weapon configs and maybe this will make even more of the players interested in modding.

      Thanks =)

      Oh and it won't only include Ammo configs, Damage and other stuff will be added later. As well as Vehicles and maps should be editable too, in the release.

      (There is a long list of what it's able to do.)

      If it gets popular, i'll be remaking it for BF2142, but no promises yet.

            This should be awesome, make sure there are tutorials for the more complex bits, some things like important vehicles from different mods, and reskinning them for a cross-mod film should be much easier then they currently are! Thankyou. :)

                  It won't be complex at all, i belive you'll only select what weapon you want like in the WeaponEditor, and then click "copy". If you want to edit the .DDS files you just click a button for that!

                  Oh and Hey Veritas. I'm sorry i didn't tell you earlier.

                    whats the music called? need now...

                    brilliant tool though, I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of people download this and start to mess around with it for fun since it makes all the coding business so much easier, nice work:)

                      (yes it IS spelled like that!)

                      But i got it by a friend, an unfinished version of that song, meaning you might not be able to get it anywhere.

                      And thanks

                        I was looking at this somewhere else, the other day. I thought to myself, what a great idea! I'm dumb as a brick when it comes to modding in the Battlefield series, this looks to be something even an idiot like me could use to good result!

                        Good job Deleted.

                          Thanks, I'll make sure anyone can use it :)

                          I'm finished with the Armament Editor now, so you can modify the missiles, from for example the Eryx, and turn the explosion into a nuclear bomb...

                          Next step is the Vehicle Editor, and then i'll go for Importing Skins, meshes etc. etc. to the vehicles and weapons.
