Allied Intent Xtended Mod Update

The Allied Intent Xtended mod team is back today with their latest media update. Here's what they had to say:

Hi Everyone, sorry for the lack of updates recently, but AIX is definitely moving forward one piece of content at a time! First up we have a couple of weapon renders in the shape of the IMI Tavor and the Fn Herstal P90. The Tavor is a long overdue redo and AIX fans are sure to notice the diference between the old and the new. (shameful screenshot warning!)

DasRoach has been very busy and has 2 more maps to showcase to you all. In Operation Static, the UN forces are pitted against the Chinese in a struggle to take control of a strategic radar array in the Wanhunglo province. Hammer Down which is still in the WIP stages, sees the UN making a pre-emptive and desperate strike on an MEC nuclear ICBM site.

although i think in the screens on op hammer down your terrain could be improved a little, still looks really good, love the concept and new statics

totally agree
I've spent all day today painting the terrain and she's looking alot better.

its a bit rezzy in those pics which was not a good thing considering hammer down was designed for the flyboys.

on the otherhand, Operation Static is an infantry focussed map set in a woodland environment with CQB action at the radar station itself.

I've tried to make sure theres a bit of something for everyones different playing styles.

oh ye the other thing I was going to say is the walls, an alot of the buildings and other objects in the Op Static radar area really dont fit with the radar dish theme. Like the yellow brick walls, plant pots, fountain etc.

Would be probaly better to use the big concrete gray wall thing which has a veneration with posters on the side, thou it dont have any cracks in the wall IMO you should really only have 1 crack in the wall system at the most or none and ye give it maybe a more military / industrial theme depending on what kinda radar station this is (I take its military) :)

well, you sure spent useless time making the most ugly gun to date - p90 , BLAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but this mod is awesome anyway

hehe the Booster Pack models suck so hard, I mean compare the BF2:EF CR2 to the PR CR2:

That P90 looks almost realistic and photo quality; it's that good. The clip is incredibly detailed, and those bullets look almost like real copper!

We have been hosting an AIX bot server for this mod, for some time now that seems to be fairly popular with many of the folks that play this mod.
