IGN has recently released a list of February's Top 10 Best Selling PC Games courtesy of NPD. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare still holds 1st Place overall.

5. World Of Warcraft: Burning Crusade Expansion Pack

Call of Duty 4 : Modern Warfare continues to hold on to the top spot for the month of February, barely edging out Stardock's new space strategy, Sins of a Solar Empire. The Sims 2 Free Time Expansion Pack, released late February, grabs the fourth place spot and breaks up last month's 2,3,4 Warcraft triple threat. Crysis falls from Janurary's 5th place to 10th. Last month's 8, 9 and 10 spots: Pirates of the Burning Sea, Warcraft III Battlechest, and Unreal Tournament III, have fallen out of February's top 10.

I mean, CoD4, no big surprise, right?

WOW - Fighting monsters and wizards in a huge world.
Crysis - Bleeding edge game, great single player.

The Sims has actually been a monster seller for EA for many yrs now...it's one of their most profitable, successful franchises. It especially appeals to the female demographic (social interaction, lack of violent overtones, control issues ).

LOL, girl power, huh?

I know they have been successful with it and have made $$$, but it just doesnt seem to ever die down.

Kinda like CS:S, its been out for ever and a half, but its still the biggest FPS out there, even though it doesnt hit the charts in sales.

Anyway, I thought it was interesting how the Sims seem to be in many many lists.
