i thought a few weeks or so ago they announced that cod5 was going to be for wii also and NOT by IW..... i think if IW is smart they will not want to have a part in cod5. cod4 is super succesfull and hasnt even been out for 6 months yet(not even 4 am i right?) and if it is also true that it will be a ww2 game then we can just add it to the pile of ww2 crap that has been piling up for the last 10 years(hint MOH)

but yea im willing to bet cod5 will be thru activision and someone else(treyarch) but not IW

I just need new maps, its like a drug and the high is starting to ware thin and I need a new fix.

As stated above, CoD5 will not be made by IW. IW isn't the company that wants to pump out one game a year, but provide quality like that obviously did with CoD4.

I really hope a expansion pack or some free downloadable content gets released for CoD4. ( And that CoD5 will be ignored by everyone )

sry to disappoint, but CoD5 is being developed by Treyarch and the DLC is refering to Xbox 360 and PS3, the DLC might be released in future patches, no word has been said yet

No, DLC means Downloadable Content, which they mainly are stating for XBOX360 and PS3. (They will get custom maps..etc)

Treyarch as stated is making Call of Duty 5 and a lot of speculation says that COD5 will go back to "Old" Warefare.

That's my guess as well. That they'll take the very best maps, and put them out in an "official" IW map-pack. Fingers crossed.

Ranked really does not matter with this game, thats why I like it so much vs Battlefield's ranking system. The custom maps are churning, especially with new game modes. Best part about it: You can download them direct from the server!

DLC means Downloadable Content.yes.
Im Happy to hear that 5 is WWII and will be for PC:yay:, don't get me wrong I think 4 is the best game out there on the PC I love it! But for me my personal likes is the WWII CoD's I still say and will always say that CoD:UO is the best.
I feel this way or could say I think this way( Im only talking title, Activision owns the name Call of Duty.): since CoD 2, 2 came out for PC and Console, 3 came out for console only then 4 came out for PC and console and it makes me feel that the PC gamers got the short end of it. It's also in Activisions best interest there going to have Modern War and WWII covered why play any other game CoD is going to have it all, its going to be great, sometimes I will want to play Modern and other times I will want WWII just like sometimes I feel like a beer and other times I want rum. Its all good.

It's stupid to make FPS games for console only, consoles are best for driving and fighting games, and remember COD started as a PC game and ported to consoles.
