Ion Cannon Mod Released

A pretty cool looking mod has been released by community member KiLL3R. Here's what he had to say:

Well I know a lot of you don't like the air strikes and helicopters, and I like big explosions, so I made this mod where it replaces the air strike with an ion cannon style laser beam like the ones from the Command & Conquer game series. This is a beta and the helicopter hasn't been replaced, I was thinking of having a nuke, but the fx was too big so I might make it a particle cannon where you can set the angle at which you want it to travel, it moves slowly along that angle for a bit then goes. The ion cannon is just a 1 shot kind of thing. Click here for a video of the mod in action.

Nah... I don't like it...

You can kill like one dude at the time with that thing... Or more if they are stacked on top of eachother...

2000lb JDAM would be more usefull and lot more fun...
