The awards for 2007's best upcoming and released mods has been announced over at the ModDB. There were many surprised winners as well! Take a look:

* 5 - Operation Black Mesa - A Source remake of the original Opposing Force expansion.
* 4 - Mechwarrior: Living Legends - A modification for Crysis that centers around giant battle mechs.
* 3 - Barney's Tales - This is another remake of a classic expansion. You'll take on the role of Barney in this Source mod version of Blue Shift.
* 2 - Jurassic Park - The mod aims to bring the movie and the book, Jurassic Park, to life on the CryEngine 2 as a mod for Crysis.
* 1 - Zombie Panic: Source - While the mod is already available for download, voting took place before this mod's release. It finds you and a few buddies teaming up all in the name of survival during a Zombie outbreak.
