MP Village Map Released

A new custom map has been released today titled Village. The map features plenty of open spaces for those players looking for this style of play. Take a look:

This is the best map released so far, it is a single player conversion.

Place all your files in the "C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\usermaps\mp_village" directory. If the folder does not exist, create it.

We run this map and others on both of our custom map servers.

Just join on the server and it will auto download the maps at 300-600 kb/s.

Yeah its a very nice map, although theres a glitch which enables you to get up the top by the power grid and the mountains behind this, plus you can fall out the map in the same place and several others around it which needs to be fixed, a member of the IW forums may need to let him know...

One silly question... do headshots count on these custom maps, ie, for getting challenges and such, or they're "unranked" and they don't count? :p

its unranked because its modded

Some custom servers run mods that have their own specific ranking systems built in.

However, whatever pts/XP you accumulate in ranked servers does not carry over to unranked, and vice-versa.
