    Brickfield Mod Update

After a bit of silence, the Brickfield mod team is back today with their latest update. Here's what they had to say:
Hello community, it's been a while since we posted our latest news, but now it's time for an official news. You surely asked yourself what happened to Brickfield and why there wasn't any news update. There where some team internal Problems so the development was really slow:

    • We lost some developers but the Core team is still working on it.
    • Private problems of one Core developer. What was the main cause for the long break.
    • No dynamic news system. With Update we like to introduce our the new forum based news system.

Enough talk, enclosed are some new screenshots and a preview of the new HUD.

nah, we are still busy creating new stuff.
it just takes somewhat more time with only the 2 of us ( chaser and me )

however, a thanks also goes out to Guedoe from the USI mod team for
the initial unwrapping and texturing of the rooms!

yep, you basically just remove the terrain and then replace the whole map with static models :)

                rhino,
thats what we first did ( having a staticobject as floor )
but i removed that, so this is actually terrain you see.

hopefully this will allow me to generate some neat navmesh :)

Great work! I remember seeing some updates a while back, and always hoping for a release.

Glad to see it's still going!

ye, makes more sence for performance with LODs etc. you should make a map with it leading into the garden for one map, have a fight amongst the flower pots!

i indeed got a patio map in the works .. with the other half being the garden :P

but first we need to get this one finished with more statics and stuff ^^

Really nice and a great alternative to all the "serious and realistic" mods.. I will definatly look forward to playing this!
