Can't say i've seen that many bugs. Games ran pretty smooth for me, only problem I get is when the map changes I sometimes get a dodgy error on my desktop winging about a memory issue, the game just hangs.
Great Mod, Great Fun! :)Comment

To be far, they have things in that mod that DICE would never have dreamed have putting in Battlefield 2.
Ask any mod team and there are bugs. The more you experiment and try and change, the bugger it gets in most cases.
But, I'd play a buggy PR 0.7 over Vanilla anyday.Comment

no release we ever make is ever going to be bug free, we will fix up w/e bugs there are but tbh there aint that many that would stop you from playing the game. 800 other players seem to get on just fine.
like John McClane said, alot of stuff we have put in DICE never even thought of putting in vBF2, apart from laser guided bombs which they where going to put in but then deiced aginst which we do have and working quite well thou it takes quite abit of knowledge and skill to use them and as the engine dose not fully support this stuff we have had to make major detors with code to get around issues to make this stuff work. you can just add to the bomb "objecttemplate.islaserguidedbomb 1" for example, takes a little more than that :pComment

Yeah you need add the ObjectTemplate.willCrashAt14% 1 behind it so we get more guys over to the Editor site. LOLComment

hummm, I'm wondering why PR v0.7 isnt along side the FH2 link in the "Total Battlefield 2 Featured Item" on the front page yet?Comment

Loved PR since 0.5, but 0.7 has lost me. Some lovely new features and some I can't stand.
Removing the minimap has reduced situational awareness to an all-time low. Since when is having a 90 degree field of view realistic? It's a big step backwards IMO. In PR 0.7 I feel like I am looking through an empty toilet roll tube at the battle.
Then no spawning on squad leaders makes joining a game mid-round a real chore. If squads are full - which is often - I have to run from main base right across the map - guessing where the front is and inevitably getting capped before I see the enemy. I do that a few times and I just leave the server (only one is Australia too).
And then the last few times I have played, all I hear is swearing about the new bullet deviation on VOIP. None of this adds up to fun for me.
There is no way I can imagine getting my friends involved. Two of my friends are ex-army and gamers and they both struggled with 0.6.
Sure it's the devs mod and they can make it as 'realistic' as they want. Some people would find doing up their bootlaces and cleaning their weapons fun in a game. Just not me.
Thanks to the devs for all the enjoyment and satisfaction PR gave me in the past.Comment

as much as i hate to say it, i agree with every thing, except SL spawns i didnt miss them, but do miss the vehicle spawns not cause of realism but because of what you said , having to walk across the whole mapp.Originally posted by Fritz-FraghofLoved PR since 0.5, but 0.7 has lost me.
