Eve of Destruction 2 Mod Update

The Eve of Destruction 2 mod team has posted up a new update today. Here's what they had to say:

Bell UH-1B Huey Gunship: UH-1B/UH-1C "Hueys" were used with moderate success as a gun ship with door mounting M60D 7.62 machine guns on the M23 armament subsystem. They could also be armed with a pod or side-mounting six-barrel "Minigun" and seven-tube XM157 or XM158 2.75 inch (70mm) rocket launcher on the Emerson Electric M21 armament subsystem.

With the fielding of the larger UH-1D as the Army's primary utility helicopter, the smaller UH-1Bs/UH-1Cs assumed the gunship role as their primary mission.

Thanks for not letting EOD2 die after all the hell you guys caught for the first release. I love playing in Vietnam.

No, we're not going to let it die. Someone has to carry on the tradition of bringing a Vietnam mod to the game community. Even if BF2 is slowly fading. We are going to continue to work on releases for it. I have way too much content and things completed, to not put out another release of the mod.

Stay tuned for part 3 of the helicopter series. (There may even be a part 4, if I get the skin done.)

Plus, I still have to show you guys the "fixed wing" assets. Some you have all seen some of it before, alot of it is new. In any case, EoD v1.2 is MUCH improved over EoD v1.1. We have tons on equipment for this next release. While version 1.1 concentrated on mostly infantry. Version 1.2 brings the mechanized parts of the Vietnam conflict to the mod. :yay:

I just apologize that we have not been able to get a release out sooner. Our mod team is just extremely small. There are only a few of us left working on it.

The guy taking the screenshots should get a new vid card though... things would look a lot better with AA x6.

Hi EOD team
I was wondering if there are any Populated U.S servers running?
If so then count me in,i just dont want to d/l the mod to only get kicked for pinging to high,Either way mod looks awsome and good luck from here on out.
