No thank you, rapecam was removed for a reason, it made it way too easy for aircraft flying 2000 meters up to see things on the ground, especially with fh2's view distances.

And, out of interest how come you decided not to use aiming sights as the primary view for tanks. In FH1 you had a nice crosshair setup that made it easier to aim. Or maybe i have just yet to find that feature in FH2.
It has been a while since i played FH .7 but i am pretty sure tanks did not have a sight as their primary view, you had to press a button in order to get the sights up.. the button to being them up in FH2 is "X"

I only ask for this back because it made singleplayer and playing with mates and a few bots via LAN good fun. Maybe a feature for only co-op and Singleplayer modes?
I always enjoyed playing FH1 and DCon via LAN with friends, gave me a warm fuzzy feeling inside.

All I can say is I hope people keep playing the mod. In my opinion its great, but its getting slaughtered review wise everywhere else. Lots of complaining about "slow gameplay" and getting killed constantly by arty.

The only place I'm seeing positive reviews are here and the FH2 forums.

What sort of problem do you get? I have installed FH2 on vista64 and xp64 and i worked fine.

That has got to be the single most ridiculous post on these forums this year.

                ABout the teamplay.

Don't know which map it was, but it is the one, where the germans have all points except one, which is dedicated to the brits and there are 2 lines. one long line of flags and one line with only 2.
I was squadleader with a really great squad and we hold this 2flags-line very long, because everyone did his part to it, it was really great.

Love the mod... only complaint is the stuka is so slow compared to the other planes, which may be balance, but with the devastation of the flak - it is very hard to be successful with.

Bad reviews? Just because everyone who likes it and plays it the whole day does not mean nobody likes it. =p

I think 1600 players tells us enough about it.

"We'll release when it's done," they said. I am glad they did because they did good. Fantastic mod - more than a mod to me. It feels like a new release game. Superb attention to detail and tons of polish. So many things just done so right - things that professional devs miss. Exceeded my high expectations. =) As an old WWII tactical board gamer and plastic modeller, FH2 brings so many dreams to life for me. 22 hours after release and I have been playing about 20 of them. ;-) Thanks devs!

Only thing I would change myself is to make all maps push style. It feels a bit arcadey to me on the free for all flag maps. But it's not my baby and that might change as players calm down a bit.

Very well coordinated release too with training vids etc. to ease any frustration for new players.

Hopefully there will be a busy server downunder for years to come.

Well done chaps. I hope all good things are gonna come back to you.

Haven't really read any "official" reviews yet, but who cares I guess. I think that most mainstreamers expect everything to cater to the ADD of modern kids Personally I like almost all styles of gameplay and I've enjoyed playing fh2 so far. It reminds me a bit of MOH's realism modes. It's pretty cool when you can hold a position with a rifle, a single grenade and some patience.

The different cam views are what players of BF2 and past games are used to..why change something that works?? Dcon did that with the lowering of jump height to what everyone was used to and it pretty much stabbed that game in the heart. The maps are good, the weapons are good but the air is horrible! What made 1942 so great was the air power mostly in the Pacific theater. I had to turn up my mouse sensitivity to be able to fly the planes at all and even then I kept on moving my mouse off my pad several times in a few seconds trying to avoid crashing into the ground. Not complaining about the mod in a sense just requesting some quick fixes in a quick patch as it seems the majority want all the cam views back and the ability to control the planes like in 1942.

Keyboard is the way to roll with planes, not mouse!
