Eve of Destruction 2 Mod Update 11/22/07

We've been sent some new news today about the Eve of Destruction 2 mod. Here's what they had to say:

News Flash! M48 Patton Tangles with PT-76. Five enemy Tanks Destroyed! No losses to US Armor! Today I would like to bring a little news to the community on what we have been doing at Eve of Destruction. It has been several months since we have been able to put out some newsworthy posts, but I am happy to say that we are now able to begin displaying the fruits of our labor in items to come with the next installment of the mod. Recently, we posted some news on some new items to be found within the mod build. I am happy to say that today, we have some more news! Therefore, let's get this show on the road!

Why are all the textures/models so green in this mod... doesn't look real at all.

Well they cant have desert or snow textures in the jungle can they

Have you ever seen Veitnam, or a Jungle? Pretty much 90% is GREEN

PT-76 looks really cool, but the rest seems to be toylike... They don't even have any mud on their sides - or is it just me?

All of them have "mud" on them to some degree. The PT-76 does not have any large amount of dirt effects on it in that picture. (I added it to the texture after I took this picture.)

Anyway, I did not go crazy with dirt effects on the textures. However, some of them could probably use a little more around the edges. :)

I suppose Boris, everything is always some form of "Wip". After all, it is a mod and everything is subject to change and adjustments. Even after the mod is released. Nothing is ever set in stone or finalized.

yeah, i loved the first release. and after watching 'rescue dawn' i cant wait for the next one.

Sure, but there 's green and green... this really hurts my eyes :shock:.
