    BattleGroup-Frontlines Mod Update #53

The BattleGroup-Frontlines team is back today with an update on their release status as well as a new map to show. Check it out:
Hello and welcome again to yet another Battlegroup-Frontlines news update. Today we want to tell you some really good news. There is almost no more time left to wait before you can start fighting hard battles on the Eastern Front. Battlegroup-Frontlines will be released next week! A password-protected bittorrent-download will be the first file you can download. Be sure to check the homepage more often within the next few days to be one of the first to download the first version of Battlegroup-Frontlines! We already have some servers lined up ready to play on as soon as the mod is released. However if there are any server owners out there who can offer additional servers please get in touch.

Meanwhile we have another news item to show you. Today we are presenting our final map that will be in the first release, its name is `Uman Pocket`. It was made by Tomcraft and it features long distance tank fights, as well as village infantry fight and also dogfights near the town Uman in the Ukraine.

awesome maps as always!...and the release news is great!...bf2 and all the modern mods are boring the crap outa me atm,so its good timing...lol.
              .
1 small thing though, the 1p hand in the first screenie looks a little odd, lacking some detail or the right colours, maybe export the hand into zbrush or mudbox, sculpt it to get a good detail texture and blend it in with photoshop...just a suggestion.

The SdKfz 251C is dirty enough... The sun is just very bright on this map, so that it looks a bit different. Don't forget that all the vehicles and weapons had been cleaned by the Wehrmacht on almost every day. They were never really dirty (they were also just a few years old, so it would be unrealistic to have tanks, which look like 50year old rusty and dirty ones)...
