Bad Company on the PC Petition

Why would I sign a petition for them to give us another buggy game that they wont support? Too many games out there now. BF is dead.

no no no !! please what is this all about.. we surely want dice/ea to be making a fully functioning PC game.. No Xbox port !! I understand your argument but would you rather Dice optimized frostbite adding support for advanced physix and made a whole new game around it...

DX9/10.. whatever.. bad company is gonna be xbox right ? it's all ready underpowered compared with any quadcore 8series gtx madman... so why aren't we aiming our sites abit higher ?

I love the battlefield franchise. BF2 is still one of my favorite games. and it would be sad to see the next installment fall behind the likes of crysis and cod4.

My money is on dice to produce something spetacular.

IMHO this is kinda pointless because its simply marketing smoke and mirrors from EA.
EA will release bad company on consoles as a kind of "exclusive to consoles" deal and then 8 months to 1 year later they will do an about face and release it on PC simply to milk more cash out of it

the console market is much larger than the PC gaming market and on the consoles piracy isn't quite as rampant as it is in the PC gaming scene.

EA wants as much money out of a title/franchise as possible, so will use the most potentially profitable marketing strategy.

Keep the games separate, Consoles get their versions, PCs their, everyone is happy.

No, keep BFBC on the console and give us BF3 for PC. Ever play BF2MC? They're nothing alike.

That was not BF2 for consoles. It was titled BattleField: Modern Combat or something like that. Then BF2 got closer to release (back when it was still slated for early March 05) and the hype over BF2 was getting huge. So they announced in short order that BFMC was going to be called BF2MC.

It's "Battlefield 2: Modern Combat".

So consoles get MC and BC, and PCs get BF2 and probably a Frostbite-powered BF soon.

If that's the deal I want a PC exclusive like BF has always been (at least the good ones). A port will suck badly since the community will be split. I really hated what they did with CoD4, but the game is still good.
