US Intervention v0.16 Patch Released

The US Intervention mod team is back today to release a new patch for their latest version. Here's what they had to say:

Hello all, release went well and we have had over 11,000 downloads so far. We want to thank all who have atleast tried out the mod and those who brought back some bugs and suggestions. We decided to do a patch and give it out to keep our fans playing. Along with fixes we added another map! Airport - done by SPFreak, originally for BF2, passed along this map to add to USI. All we did was swap out the BF2 stuff with USI equipment as we plan to further develop this map for pure fun in the future. Since the actual patch build was 1.3 gigs, we decided to pass out the files as we do our testers to keep the file size down. Inside the rar you will dowload is an exe and another rar file. Run the exe to install the main patch files. Open the map's rar files and extract to your battlefield 2 mods folder, yes to overwriting. You should be completely patched up You can view the changelog and download the mod here. Soon we will be showing renders and pics of new content so stay tuned for more and enjoy our mod.

Hello, I just had a little question... I understand that the newest version for US Intervention is v0.15 just like it says on every battlefield 2 site that promotes this mod but a link on their site said you can download it from modjive and so I followed the link, downloaded modjive and installed it and the version for USI shows up as v0.1.03 and I find that a bit strange because when you first start up modjive, on the front page (welcome screen) There is a place where it says US Intervention 0.5 realeased and when you click on that, it takes you to the download page with all the other mods and the version is v0.1.03. Also, There is a new patch for USI (v0.16) but has modjive already updated it for the original download? Or do I need to download it from the link you posted above? I'm not sure who to ask so I thought I'd post here. I'm downloading USI this very moment and so I would like to know if it is also SP because I've heard people say that it CTD when they click on Single Player and I figured I'd like to play both MP and SP... Just wondering... Thanks!

Version .16 is the latest. If modjive is showing a version other than that, it is outdated.

install .15, download .16 files thru the links above, follow the instructions in the post above, you then should be up to date

Modjive displays that 1.03 or w/e for me as well, but since the other version shows .11, i know which one is .16 and which isn't. Maybe a typo somewhere.

Those are previous versions. .16 is the latest. As Guedoe said, you need to download .15 and then the .16 patch.

I just checked Modjive and sure enough it says version 0.1.3, released Nov 2nd 2007. They need to fix that. What they apparently have is version .15 since is says it was released Nov 2nd and they need to add the .16 patch.

there is a typo on my mistake, i never updated the mod desc and never uploaded to modjive due to this, the files were already passed out as this caught my eye. However plans for the next patch are being drawn out.

Modjive is pretty cool sometimes but yesterday I got really pissed off... I had too much junk on my computer so I got rid of all my bf2 and 2142 mods and kind of started over fresh. It felt good cuz I could start over but then when AIX, PR, and USI got finished downloading yesterday I installed them, got the add-ons and mappacks and patches, etc... Started them up and none of them worked... That right there says something. I don't think I could of installed them all wrong. I followed the instructions for PR which is the hardest to set up when it comes to playing PR SP but other than that you just click "next" a few times and it works automatically... Very strange...

Probably when some Europeans reply to the dev team when they ask for European mirrors. Until then only the US contacts seem to be responding.

Can you provide more details, during map load, which map or during gameplay, we do have 2 or 3 maps giving us problems.
