Sir. Community Showreel & The Future of Sandbox

The Sir. Community has released a new update today that features a new movie as well as the latest info on Sandbox. Take a look:

As the Sir. Community prepares to move forward to the next generation of games, we take a look back at our accomplishments and finest moments in the Battlefield series. We have released the Sir. Community Showreel, a video of our past creations in BF2 and BF2142. It takes you through our biggest modding projects, the legendary stunting era of Battlefield 2, Modjive and BattleDirector, and some of our most popular movies. It certainly has been a blast working in the Battlefield series, with its open-ended gameplay forming a brilliant platform for the community. Thanks to all our current and former members and fans for your ongoing support.

But we're not done yet. In a few weeks, Sandbox 1.0 will be released. This latest version will expand the object list even further - also, many new vehicles will be available for your use. Sandbox 1.0 is intended as a way to give credit to our dedicated players, so stay tuned to SirCommunity.com to try the upcoming public beta and get a chance to get your creations and comments included in the final release!

Yeah, I would highly suggest moving to Frontlines. Thats where all the BF people are going.

After playing in the FFOW beta for a while I would be a little careful with making such a statement.

Nobody's "moving away" from BF2 anytime soon. We're going to try out the new games when they're released to see what would work as the best platform for new projects.

As long as people keep playing our BF2 mods, we'll keep working on them. I'm going to expand Modjive into other games soon, but BF2 support certainly won't be dropped. :)
