Hello and welcome again to yet another Battlegroup-Frontlines news update. Today we are presenting one more map, its name is `Rostov Industry`. It was made by Tomcraft and it features close quarter infantry fights in the industrial discricts of the one million citizens town Rostov-on-Don.
But first one good news for our fans. Our developers diary becomes regularly updated with gameplay shots of the mod and its definetely worth for everybody to check it. You only need to register in our forums in order to see those screenshots. Now some information about the map.
After the Wehrmacht had won the Battle of Kiev in September 1941 they moved forward to Rostov. They reached it in November 1941 and captured it on November 21st. However the german army suffered from an overextended line and the soldiers and vehicles suffered from the cold and frosty weather. Already on November 27th the 37th soviet Army had retaken the town and the Wehrmacht had to make its first significant withdrawal during Operation Barbarossa.
