Battleship Mod Update

There is a new update posted today for the Battleship mod letting us know the mod is taking a break. Take a look:

It's unfortunate for me to say, but I wasn't able to put together a build suitable for release. I apologize to everyone that has been waiting but unfortunately things have been to much for one person to handle. Battleship Mod will go on a hiatus for a while now until I get back, unless some inactive dev members come back to work on it while I'm away, but I'm not promising anything. If there is a mod community for BF2 than I'll continue with my work, though if not you can expect to see a reincarnation of Battleship on some other engine I'm sure. I'll leave now with something for you to forward to in the spring.

We'll all look forward to the return of zuiquan1 and the Battleship mod.

Thats a pitty! I really looked forward to more from Battleship mod as it was focused on sea battles which is very different from most of the other mods being developed. This mod would have complemented the flavor of mods out there and stood out as a unique one.. I hope You continue to develop and don't drop it for all eternity.

Btw.. yes, it must be Titanic and .. hmm.. is it HMS Hood?

This mod looks really good, i'm in the Merchant Navy, so i would obviously love to see this released in the futured, when you have more time matey :)
