its only bad for MP when the map changes on the server that you dont have, you will CTD :p

but not such a big issue for you guys since you are mainly SP based :)

Well we plan to keep the map packs around 5-6 per pack so they are easy enough and small enough to get if you don't have what the server has :)
There are probably going to be a lot of community maps releasing over time so its a hard thing to control, but with a little planning it should be at least managable and not too much of a pain to the player

The AIX website will have a clear-cut Mapping repository section soon so people can easily see what map packs are out, which maps are in them with thumbnails to easily see if they need or want them :nod:

I just put up the AIX server yesterday and my vBF2 server's been dead for a while. Are you sure you played with me?

Before I put up that AIX server, I only played about 15 or 20 minutes on a server playing Kursk that had all the bots on one side, so it's possible it was there, or maybe it was on POE2? I had played a little of that recently. I only have time to play online games for about 4 hours a week due to my busy schedule.
