At 80%, the game writes its largest file (objects_client.zip) to the mod directory. Its nearly 300MB so it takes awhile to decompress and transfer... just be patient and it will go.Comment

played on a server last night where admin told us that only "Dead Calm" was playable now since they were waiting for å server fix......Comment

I downloaded it from ModJive and had no problems with install to a non default directory (German Windows). I pimped a custom desktop shortcut (20" widescreen monitor, so I always have to start from a customized shortcut). Every server i found I could join. I even found a server with Black Beard`s Atol, and I was playing with 10-20 others. I didn`t have a crash untill Sunday. Now I get them quite often.
Four other clan members downloaded Pirates. 3 had crash to desktop problems. They could not play even once. The fourth had the issue where it always install into the default english windows directory "Progrom Files". Instead of the german one "Programme". He says He changed it in the setup process. However, being his name is FalloutBoy I can`t guarantee that part.
I was so waiting for this mod for a long time. I did have a chance to play 4 maps with up to 64 player on them. I especially like Blue Beiau or what ever.
