We were hacked. Several times over the past two weeks, in fact.
While all passwords are encrypted and salted, it's recommended that you change your password here when you can.
I was CTDing for a bit. I reinstalled the 1.41 patch and specified my screen resolution. I am not sure which one did it but I am now playing fine again.
We've been trying to isolate the issue with the CTDs and it seems to happen most frequently when going into the 2nd round of a map. Not sure if something isnt getting cleared/reset properly between rounds but it seems like a server side issue with either the python or a .con/.tweak file somewhere. If you are managing a server, it might be best to set it up for 1 round per map until we can get things sorted. We were thinking over here that during the last final testing session we were just running thru each map one time to look for stuff and then on to the next. Anyways, keep your eyes peeled for new news and hopefully this will get sorted soon.
I have been fortunate enough not to have this CTD problem and for a first release I have to say it's very well done.
Some suggestions:
1: There isn't enough incentive to go surgeon given the fact that grog only heals people a small amount and finding it is very difficult in itself. Increase the amount of health that grog recovers?
2: Sniper muskets are a little too accurate eh? I was getting railed-gunned by people from rope bridges at least 300m away and was doing toe same thing back to them with very little effort.
That's all I can really think of right now since overall the mod is well made and extremely fun. i'll be putting in another late session tonight Power/Rhino if yer on.
For some reason when I installed it I didn't get an icon to launch the game so can someone tell me how?

edit : fixed my problem with the 1fps by switching all graphics from high to medium with the global button. then upping AA to max. Wierd the way that went. I'll never see full on graphics with this mod in current incarnation for some strange reason.

mine still says another 2.5 hours, been going about an hr or more allready
If you download a bittorrent client like azureus and then download the torrent file listed further into the thread I downloaded it in about 15 minutes.
Edit: Right now it is going about 1 MB/s for the file.
THE =CDU= server CTD's every time I try and connect to it so something they have done in their SSM causes some people to crash out. Every other server out there loads and plays without error.

Same, I crash every time the "Join Game" button pops up.
Edit: Nvm I CTD on the map, "Shiver me timbers" on any server.
