I hope it sounds like that... From what I've been able to hear in this video it's nothing like the scary sound I've been used to hear... I hope it's just because you hear it differently when you're its pilot (which I think is right) and not a ground target... :hmm:

Why wont any of the FH devs answer me about the bf2combat tournament? I'm sure lots of people will be interested in such a large tournament for the mod.

Forgotten Hope has become an institution.

Institution:laugh: since when do mods are for crazies. Just kidding. About EOD2 and snipers. A sniper rifle that kills with one shot OMG it's unheard of. The problem was that every one start using it and of course that would ruin gaming experience. Balance is everything and I hope FH2 get this right. (But than again you can't make everyone happy):salute:

there are many 32x32 tournaments in the FH community

2 english tournaments
at least 2 german tournaments
1 brazilian tournament

For the record, I will take an unpolished, premature release of a small amount of content, (say 1-2 maps) so we can play it. Don’t give me that bs about the release being delayed because of a fear of criticism. There are bugs in every mod, that’s why there’s a version 1.0 or 0.1 and those loyal to any given mod will play no matter what. We’ve all played buggy full releases in other MP games which we PAID for which don’t even come close to the caliber of BF1942 and BF2. Release the full tilt, every rivet polished, every stone in its place version when it’s ready. In the meantime, I want to play. If it's at least as good as BF1942 I'd be happy. :)

Well in response to that post ^, no disrespect to the EoD team however i think the first EoD version is a prime example. Players left in droves due to the sniper kits as they just got so pissed off and now a lot of players dont seem to be returning.

That's a balance issue, quite different than a release issue.

Well they go hand in hand really if players find after a long awaited release that there are still huge problems with the game/mod they are going to be put off from downloading the newer fixed versions agree?
