Can we please just keep this to constructive discussion about FH2.

This is a mod update, not a open forum to discuss why you think BF2 is dead, why your not going to play this mod, and/or what game your going to go play instead.

Feel free to comment about the mod update, but don't stray too far away from the subject. You guys know where the line stands as to what is a appropriate comment and what is not.

Those people who are just posting mindless jabber that no one really cares about and/or wants to hear will just get their ability to post replies in the Mod News section removed.

Great update again from the FH2 devs!
Those little scout planes look really funny.. Me not being a pilot I presume they are fragile and non armed so that I don't have to be affraid when they are diving towards me and that I can jump out of the universal carrier and un-holster my Webley and do some serious damage to them..

This mod looks amazing, not sure if it will drag me away from PR though, all depends on the realism... I like how perfect it is, everything they showed so far looks really finished.

@Axe_Edge: I don't think they missed the boat, but they might lose a lot of players if they wait another half year. Sure the dedicated fanbase won't care, but those average fans might have moved on to a newer title like BIAIII, COD4,...

One more thing. Has any one notice that when BattleGroup-Frontlines mod update comes out Forgoten-hope2 and EWW2 come out with their updates?

I'm waiting on this MOD like most here, but hey I've also been waiting on other games such as Crysis to release so to move on. Sept 25th is the single player demo release and the full game comes out Nov16th. Front lines won't come out till early 2008 so nothing more on that one.

I won't say much more other than what I did so take it like a grain of salt.


I hope to see some additional info on the next update *hint hint*

Yes, in the video you can see all the views we are using:

the default cockpit view
the gunsight slightly zoomed view
and a 6 o'clock camera

No more, no less

I think the cannon/machine gun damage with respect to the aircraft should be upped. It took quite a while to take out just one aircraft, with that in mind. People wouldn't bother taking each other out and achieving air superiority. And both would just focus on the ground.

Up the damage that the machine guns and cannons do the aircraft. I reckon.

Nice update though, it's coming along good. Dunno how many times I thought the pilot was going to crash his plane into the ground in that first video though. :p

Last I checked you guys have had 2 or 3 updates since the last FH2 update.

Everyone needs to learn how to get along.
