And for everyone of you who "will never play it b/c BF2 is dead," there are 100 people out there ready to download it as soon as it's released. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if EA saw an upswing in BF2 sales after FH2 is released as I recall a lot of guys who weren't going to by it until then.

yea I just wish the initial release wasn't set in the friggen desert. I've had enough playing in the desert for a lifetime. Bring on the green!

I wonder why people has the emergency to come to a BF2 site and shout: screw BF2 and your mod, I will not play them!.

I mean, c'mon, I don't go to the SIMS site to say: hey fellas, SIMS suck and I am not downloading your mod "SIMS: Going Picnic with our aunts"

Great pics and looks to be a great mod. I’ve gotta hand it to the Devs, they are dedicated, skilled, and perfectionists (in mostly a good way).

The mod teams (due to absolutely no positive help from Dice), especially this great mod, missed the boat. They should have released something long ago. I’ve just finished Bioshock, already have my pre-order for ET:QW, and Krysis is on its way.

Problem is, I’m with ulm4lyf and Lindy. I truly hope I’m wrong, but this mod won’t receive the attention it deserves (except for a few short weeks). Don’t get me wrong, people will be playing it for a while, but not like they would have if it was released long ago.

I remember downloading DC for the first time (I think it was just before .38, when the helos weren’t flyable). I enjoyed checking on DCs status a couple of times a day to find out when the next release was coming out. There was a time there when a release came out just about every Friday. I’d either rush home during lunch or call a buddy to download it. There were new features added with each release/patch. I dug watching it grow.

Why do we come back and lurk/post for this game? Pure affection for the Battlefield franchise. Don’t hate us. The mod teams (thus us) were let down by Dice. Yes, I know. Scream at us, “Move on then! See ya!”. Believe me. I don’t want to. There’s going to be too much out there with an updated engine and better support from the publisher that will take up my time.

I saw a pre-order for MOH:airborne, it comes with free BF2. So if any one want to get next version of MOH, they will get BF2 too.
BTW can't wait for release of mod.

One more thing. Has any one notice that when BattleGroup-Frontlines mod update comes out Forgoten-hope2 and EWW2 come out with their updates?

bf2 isnt dead yet,youl find theres just less noobs and stat whores playing now...its about bloody time!..lol
alot of people are misguided about the lifespan of some games and mods,they just dont disapear overnight.

Can we please just keep this to constructive discussion about FH2.

This is a mod update, not a open forum to discuss why you think BF2 is dead, why your not going to play this mod, and/or what game your going to go play instead.

Feel free to comment about the mod update, but don't stray too far away from the subject. You guys know where the line stands as to what is a appropriate comment and what is not.

Those people who are just posting mindless jabber that no one really cares about and/or wants to hear will just get their ability to post replies in the Mod News section removed.
