The Department Store Battles mod team is happy to present everyone today with their latest version, 2.8. Here's what they had to say:

Well we're back from the labs again with a totally revamped version of Department Store Battles. This update will address a lot of new changes for DSB over the past few months. We are proud to announce the launch of DSB 2.8 this update will bring a lot more team work and more toys to the mod. DSB brings you the all awaited Karkand Rooftops and the mini gun ATV. We also have active camo for a two man sniper team will dominate you. Imagine hiding in a movable rock when holding the AT MINE, if that isn't crazy I'm not sure what is. I know they put a lot of work into it and I'm glad people enjoy it, but I'm just not into absurd mods.

I don't mean absurd in a negative sense, but I don't know what else to call it.

If your lacking a sence of humor, this mod is not for you. Sry
And with all respect, I find squad members magically poping out of squad leaders butts absurd. This is a computer game....have fun.

Last night it was launched rather late in the evening and we know that not alot of WS members would be on to populate our DSB server all night due to school , jobs, ect. ect.. Today (Thursday) you can expect the DSB server bumping.

If you have any questions come into WS TS and someone will show you the ropes on all the cool features.

Looks awesome, but what are the minimum PC requirements for the mod? Is it the same as bf2? I want to play it but I'm sure my PC won't handle it.

I played with two WS members yesterday until the server went down.
One was Alanman i think? He said he was the one that made kark rooftops.

I am sure happy i stuck with the download as this mod sure is fun.

Ok I'm a SGT. In the U.S Army....There is realism in Video (((GAMES)))!?!?!?
If you wan't realism join your nations army... Until they make a game where you get shot and your in your seat bleeding to death, realism doesn't exist in GAMES....than again it wouldn't be called a game than hugh

also the link on the homepage is moving at over 1mb a second for me.
