We're wrapping up v0.6 and looking forward to a release very shortly. The video below was put together by [R-DEV]dbzao and gives a lil preview of some v0.6 action filmed during the Open Beta.

Important information about EAX and the PR v0.6 Client
Our sound artists [R-DEV]jaymz and [R-DEV]sofad have been stretching the BF2 sound engine to it's limits throughout the development of v0.6. In order to have the best possible experience with Project Reality v0.6 is it very important that you enable EAX in your BF2 sound options.

Just about all onboard and aftermarket sound cards support some version of EAX and your PR v0.6 experience will be greatly enhanced by enabling EAX support.

Project Reality v0.6 Server Release Information
Server Administrators are now able to apply for a v0.6 License. You need access to the Private Server Administrators forum to access this thread: PR v0.6 License Application Thread

Thanks to all of you fantastic dedicated server administrators for cooperating with us and putting up with a few hoops as we take a new approach to releasing server code for Project Reality v0.6.

Great friggin video....makes me wanna play the mod to be honest.

Also, one question about the server release, how does one host a local lan? I can't comply with your requirements (server ip addy) because the server won't be located on the internet. TBH, it hasn't been on the net since 0.5. I setup my server awhile back for some friends to use because they like your mod. I never play on it though for obvious reasons.

It would be great if you had a server build made specifically for LANS as well as movie makers. I actually wanted to use some of your maps as backdrops for Hostile Acts 2. (because Rhino rulez!!!!!!!:salute:)

@ Jaws, hosting local and LAN servers is not a problem, you can 100% customize thous types of servers for how you like, we have no problem with them :)

Actually, I don't need to customize anything. Just wondering how to create a local if I can't get the server files because I can't comply with the requirements.
