Forgotten Hope 2 Mod Update

There is a new update posted today over at the Forgotten Hope 2 mod website. Here's what they had to say:

Hello and welcome back to another update of our progress in developing Forgotten Hope 2. First up this week we have a new map by Lobo to show: the quintessential North Africa theatre battle -- El Alamein. First, some historical background on the battle which signalled the turning point and the beginning of the Allied victory in North Africa.

Next up, we have in-game screenshots of the Flak 18 88mm gun (shown last time) in dug-in defensive positions. The model was by Arisaka, and skin was by jimbob and Rad. This was exported and coded by jodonnell and ctz. Sounds were provided by Citizen Soldier (incidentally, who we'd like to wish the best of luck to in his current tour of duty) and our betatester Bratwurst.

Finally, we have in-game screenshots of the AEC "Dorchester" 4x4 Armoured Command Vehicle by ctz and Toddel (both the British and captured German version). Coding in both cases was by ctz. The commander can make use of his assets when sitting in the passenger position in these vehicles.

with the community slowly ebbing away it would be a shame for all this hard work to not get the recognition it deserves.

Just stunning! WOW as usual! Has there been even a hint of a release month?
I dont see where everyone is going in the community, that is to say that they have left. Where the hell and to what games arms are they falling into?
NONE!

I'm just sad that BF3 is no where on the horizon

i hope anyone can drive the commander vehicle so kids can drive away with it and hide it.

or just drive it while the commander is in it so it will get destroyed faster.

The longer it is until this comes out, the less i am interested in it. Thats no criticism but a pure fact of life. Is this gonna be released in 2007 or not?
