    BattleGroup-Frontlines Mod Update #37

The BattleGroup-Frontlines mod team is back today showing off a wide variety of new media. Here's what they had to say:
Hello, and welcome to the 37th BGF update! This week, we would like to show some more vehicles created for your playing pleasure, as well as some custom statics to add a more authentic feel to our battlefields.

We start things off with our 7,5cm Panzerabwehrkanone 40. A render of this magnificent AT gun was shown a few weeks ago, and we now present it ingame. The PaK 40 was the standard German anti-tank gun until the end of the war, and was supplied by Germany to its allies. This gun did it`s job so well, some captured pieces were even used by the Red Army!

This was a cooperation work between BGF and the German Front Mod for CoD2, and it turned out really nice. We hope you enjoy playing with it as much as we enjoyed making it! Read more...

Interesting how this particular model was a joint effort between BGF and a COD2 modding team. I was a big fan of the COD1 German Front mod, so I am familiar with their work. How difficult is it to share models between the two games?

Great update, can't wait for release.:salute:

Sharing models isn't a problem, they aren't game dependent or anything (as long as the poly count is in an acceptable range), coding them however is a different matter... (I think)

Another great update, although i'm not sure how many panzers wondered around with a mobile sniper sitting on top :P

Correct. All we shared was the model and texture, which are very easy to share across different platforms :salute:

Nice pics. I'm enjoying watching the progress of this mod.

Looking at the Panzer IV and the soldier poking out of the hatch.
Will Panzers and the like have their own crew kit/uniform??
