BattleGroup-Frontlines Mod Update #36

The BattleGroup-Frontlines mod team is back today showing off some screenshots from a new map. Take a look:
Hello and welcome to another Battlegroup-Frontlines news. Today we have some screens of our Russian Churches which have been done by Kiwi(NZ). These are on the maps "On the Road to Stalingrad" and "Day of Barbarossa" by Benseras.

You know what I would love to see? You guys release before FH2. Why, because I think you guys have come a long way and really have some great looking content.

If I were you guys, I'd take advantage of this scenario by elongating the release....release mod with just two maps...two maps that differ greatly from one another...and then every week thereafter, release 1 or 2 maps. This way, if you have say, 12 maps, you'll be extending the hype over a month. It'll be like Christmas every week!!!!!

Imagine that, people looking forward to something every week and every week, you deliver.

PS: You could even build a tournament around this concept as you release new maps.

Yeah, great looking custom statics! :)

Just an innocent (i.e. non-flaming, undermining or criticising :)) question - is the grey fog in the second map supposed to look like that?

I know what you mean Cheesy,

all skies i use are custom ones, to make the sky match with the fog you need to paint a solid color at the bottom of the skybox(http://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i203/Benseras/10.jpg) depending how high your terrain goes(can be seen at many dice skies), that hasn“t happen so far...regard it not final(sky/fog), quick job.

Also, my tft has problems with bright colors...white...grey, they are looking sometimes the same for me...we had that problem also on my FH Fanmap if you remember:p

Ah cool :)

It's good to hear they're not final. What I find useful is to either open up the sky or take a screenshot of it in the Editor and use PS's (or Paint's) colour-picker and use the RGB values from that for the fog colour in the Editor. That way I know they'll match 100%.

That pic you posted is very nice looking btw

I do it also with the colour picker...i just was too lazy to adjust it(though it doesn´t take that much time...but sometimes i´m very busy), for the release it´ll match:)

hehe thanks:)
unfortunally...we are probably not going to see the map with that sky and light settings since i got an anoying bug at that map that pushs me in the situation to use it as a night map:cry:
(a cry to all team members that don´t like night maps:salute: )
