Ok what bothers me is what is the point in giving us one map? Also that article is basically saying that they did this for 2142 and they decided to give us a bone? Iam come on, why don't they give us more and why are they pushing on in this manner and this doesn't reflect on them very much IMO.

I think it's balanced just right. If you start introducing attack choppers and bombers, the ground units are going slaughtered. More AA vehicles would have to be added as a result.

then add more AA vehicles then.. I didn't say unbalance it but with such a large fighting area attack choppers one on each side plus a bomber on each side would really be good!

I personally don't like the planes in BF2. I'd love to see a "Ground Vehicle Only" mode, kinda like "Infantry Only", but that's just my personal opinion. If you get one good pilot, they can stay airborne the whole round, just taking out target after target, even with AA.

the infantry only idea was good...but they should have added that extended sprint to the whole game not just that change.. really makes me wonder what the hell EA is thinking. But Balance would be fine with attack choppers and a few more AA placements.

ok map i guess but i would like another version focused a bit more on infantry battles, not just all on vehicles

that would make BF2 a total infantry game, BF2 is already too focused on infantry, and BF is all about tank battles like in 1942, i loved the map, it was pretty awesome reminded me of the old tank battles on el alemein and the other awesome BF1942 maps and i think that 1 plane per side is just right, more planes would wreck the whole thing.

good to see free content is back in the game, no matter where it comes from

The map is worthless on either game and its beyond obvious to the community they could give a rats rear end about any of it.

They are incapable of creating decent maps and their policies of interaction with the community are non existent. The most popular maps played are clear and the lack of creating anything similar just shows pure incompetence.

CoD4 has to be the next best thing on the radar.

Edit after looking into CoD4 its garbage. I guess its all the way to jan 08 for frontlines

all im saying is that if they had another version of this map, like a little more pushed together, I would like that. the map would still have vehicles and a plane and chopper in 64 mode

I don't know about that, even thou game looks unbelivble, and I'm defenetly going to get it but I think Frontlines: Fuel of War is the next thing for me.
